The children in the Hope Squad Program come from neglected communities, many of them Haitian refugees who cannot return to their home country. Their families face challenges with immigration status, making it difficult to access essential services such as medical care, education, and structured after-school activities like sports and mentorship.

We have seen firsthand that many of these children suffer from severe neglect—often going without food at home unless an external organization steps in to help. Basic hygiene habits, such as brushing teeth and washing hands, are not being taught, leaving them vulnerable to health issues.

These children desperately need stable, caring adults in their lives to provide the necessities of life, guidance for a healthy transition into adulthood, and most importantly, the opportunity to learn about Jesus.
